Experimental Breeding

These bunnies are made for fun and are not recognized breeds. They’re best as unique pets and are offered as such (no pedigree). Lately we’ve been combining traits of mini lops and lionheads in order to create a “LionLop”. These lovable mutts get lots of attention from us!

Other times, experimental breeding is necessary to introduce different genetic lines into the herd to help with immunity to diseases or to add features that would improve a breed characteristic (such as fuller coat, thicker ears, different head/body shape, eye color, etc).
